Others stepped off the tools, or out of an operations management chair, recently enough to know how this work is really priced, scheduled and argued about today. Between them our team has worked across all four global lift companies and a range of independents.

Our Managing Director, Sid Bastos, sits on Standards Australia’s vertical transportation committee, helping shape the standards Australian lifts are built and maintained to.
We pay our own way to the trade fairs and symposiums that matter — Munich, Nuremberg, Düsseldorf, London, Brussels, Helsinki, Ebikon, Dubai, Shanghai and Las Vegas — because the only way to know what is genuinely new, as opposed to what a salesperson is calling new, is to go and look at it.

More than 250 projects across seven states and New Zealand since 2023. 2025 was our busiest year yet, up 67% on the year before.
We do not sell, install or maintain lifts, and we take no commission from anyone who does. Our only interest is that the owner of a building understands what they are being asked to sign and what their equipment actually needs.

Because you should be able to see who is doing the work. In an industry where a great deal of technical advice arrives unsigned, on letterhead, from a company rather than a person, knowing which individual inspected your building and what they are qualified to say about it is not a small thing.
It also means that if you engage us, you know who will attend. We are a small firm on purpose. The person who writes your report is the person who looked at your lifts.
None of our consultants hold a commercial interest in a lift manufacturer, installer or maintenance provider, and none of them are paid on the basis of what a client decides to buy. Where one of us has previously worked for a company involved in a matter we are asked to assess, we disclose it before accepting the engagement.
